Rock & Roll Inflatables on Sale

Durrants auction rooms are selling 44 lots of massive inflatables that have been used at iconic concerts and events throughout the last few decades. The custom made inflatables were created by Rob Harries and his team who have been producing the props since 1976. The lots have been used for various concerts, exhibitions, gigs and film sets including promotional work for large production companies such as Warner Bros.

Freddie Mercury Tour

Lots vary from a 25 foot Gulliver, to giant coke cans, a dragon and a huge ice cream sundae. Rock and Roll fans may be particularly interested in a large inflatable Freddie Mercury from The Magic Tour in 1986, this lot also comes with a folder of drawings. All four inflatables of the band were released after the concert in Wembley Stadium, this one being found later in a garden.


The sale also features memorabilia from various band tours including The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, AC/DC and Iron Maiden.
